West Adelaide Soccer Club Announces Theo Tsiounis as New Senior Head Coach

The West Adelaide Soccer Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of Theo Tsiounis as the new Senior Head Coach on a 3-year contract. Theo brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record of success, making him an exciting addition to the club.
With over a decade of experience in coaching and leadership roles, Theo Tsiounis has made a significant impact on South Australian football. He has previously served as Head Coach for both the Adelaide Comets and Para Hills Knights, leading each club for five years. His tenure at these clubs was marked by his dedication to building a strong club culture and developing a distinct team identity, which contributed to their ongoing success. Additionally, Theo has served as an Assistant Coach at Adelaide United Reserves, where he further honed his skills in player development and team management.
Theo’s coaching philosophy centres on nurturing young talent and creating clear pathways for their progression. His commitment to fostering a positive, professional environment has seen many players under his guidance advance to the highest levels of the sport. Theo’s involvement in the local football community is extensive, holding an AFC/FFA A Licence and contributing to the development of football across all levels in South Australia.
In addition to his coaching roles, Theo is a respected Secondary School Leader, where he educates and inspires young athletes on and off the field. His ability to combine his passion for football with his dedication to education makes him a unique and invaluable asset to West Adelaide.
